Please learn to distinguish within yourself the difference between sensitivity and pain. Very often the two are confused, especially in the emotional realm. Remember: sensitivity is a kind of heightened awareness. And it is a gift. Feeling hurt very often may mean that you are more prone to reacting in a negative way to that which you are able to sense. You can use your available and natural inner tool of emotional awareness to catch the moments where you feel pain has been triggered. What happened right before? How did you interpret the event? Does your interpretation indicate a negative belief you may have about yourself or does your interpretation empower you? Use your sensitivity to turn off the auto-pilot. Empower yourself. Distinguish between your awareness of life and your reactions to life. You have the opportunity of choice at every single micro-moment.
